I took Chauncy for a walk in downtown Portland, Oregon yesterday. He has a tendency to lunge at people on bikes, people on skateboards and other dogs, making taking photos a challenge. The people who were at the two "occupied" parks were very low-key when I was there (between 4:00 & 5:00). There were tents, and people milling about, and lots of talking. That being said, here are a few signs of the times, circa October 15th, 2011.
Not far from the occupied parks, the specter of a religious icon was reflected in the cool, blue-gray glass of an office building...what does it mean? I submit that it means whatever you'd like it to mean...
