Phil Gramm Lets Grotesque Alien Cat Out of Bag

Phil Gramm, a top adviser to Sen. John McCain, on Thursday said he was not trying to insult Americans when he told a Washington newspaper that "We have sort of become a nation of whiners." The former senator from Texas told CNN that he was trying to say the nation's leaders, not its people, were "whiners."
