Mrs. Jivester and I (and two other friends of the blues and us) went to the Waterfront Blues Festival yesterday in Portland, Oregon. We had the profound pleasure of listening to Phillip Walker, Sherman Robertson, Rosie Ledet, Leon Blue (I'll tell ya all a little story about The Man in Blue and The Blue Man some other time...). Nearby, on the Main Stage we heard a bit of Elvin Bishop & Charlie Musselwhite.
Mr. Paul Thorn and his band did their thing and they did it well. Lots of YouTubes of this guy to check out...lordy, but the blues iz fun!
